force of nature autumnal lunch - 14 APRIL
As part of the Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival, this autumnal lunch is a collaboration between farmer, chef and winemaker and a celebration of autumnal produce. The Force of Nature Autumn Festival lunch returns to Lyons Will Estate in April.
Using what's in season from the Force of Nature Food Co, grown just up the road in Romsey and what can be foraged from the forests enveloping the Macedon Ranges a delectable four course meal will be created.
This year lunch will be cooked by friends of Lyons Will Ana Cortes and Hannah Watt. Hannah and Ana have a shared passion for seasonal local ingredients and their culinary experience has been key in creating an exciting menu utilising the best that the region has to offer.
Think peppers and pine mushrooms, pumpkin and tromboncino, quinces and figs. Each of the four courses will be designed to complement the wines of Lyons Will Estate. The perfect way to celebrate beautiful produce, autumn flavours and superb wines at Lyons Will cellar door amongst Lancefield’s stunning backcountry.
The Force of Nature farmers will dedicate a space to showcase their produce at the lunch, which will be available for purchase on the day.
Date: 14th April, 2024
Venue: Lyons Will Estate
Tickets: $95 per person, via OpenTable. Includes four courses. Wine by the glass or bottle can be purchased at cellar door, along with a selection of other drinks. No corkage.
We will also be offering snacks to share (prices range from $8-20 per dish). Please call us to book a table to avoid disappointment.

YOGA IN THE VINES - VINYASA AND VIGNERONS
We're thrilled to announce that Belinda Firmstone of Return to Earth Yoga will be holding ongoing yoga classes at Lyons Will Estate.
Her next class will be held on Sunday 28th April as part of the Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival.
Autumn is the season of slowing down...as we prepare to make like bears and hibernate for Winter. Yoga during this time is based around the concept of 'letting go', of making time for the things that matter. Keeping up our yoga practice through autumn and winter can help prevent cold and flu - as we are naturally building up our body's immunity. Class will include some gentle practices that you can take home with you to support yourselves over the cooler months. We will end with a relaxation to ease you into a relaxing day of Autumn Festival vibes.
Belinda founded Return to Earth after she completed her 500-hour teacher training on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Following this training, she went on to study Japanese yoga with Peter Masters in Sydney and then undertook a mentorship with Judith Hanson Lasater in Restorative Yoga - which took her to San Francisco and Iceland. Belinda believes yoga is accessible to all, and for her it acts as a nice segue to her other favourite things: good food and wine. When she is not on the yoga mat, she can be found in the winery regions of Victoria or on the running tracks of Melbourne.
Next Yoga session: Sunday 28th of April 9:30am
Venue: Lyons Will Estate
Bookings: Via Return to Earth
